The PADI Peak Performancy Buoyancy specialty course with TSC takes place at Gulliver’s Lake.
Course Description
Buoyancy is one of the hardest skills for new divers to master. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty course is all about providing extra insights, techniques and practice on neutral buoyancy. The course is designed to help students better understand their relationship to water when diving and help maximize efficiency when diving.
The course takes place at Gulliver’s Lake, where the relatively shallow depths really test your buoyancy skills.
As a PADI specialty course, it counts towards the Master Scuba Diver rating.
What You Will Learn
Students will learn how to weight themselves correctly and learn why weighting and positioning creates a more efficient and balanced diver. Students will work on perfecting buoyancy skills and understand the difference between using their BCD as a compensator device and control device. Students will be encouraged to examine their own breathing habits and how to improve their breathing while diving.
Includes
The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course includes 2 open water dives that take place in one day. We keep the student count small, so that our instructors can provide as much individualized attention as possible.
As a continuing education course, students must have their own mask, snorkel and fins. The rental of a wetsuit, BCD, regulator set are available if needed from the sign up menu. Tank and weights are included with the course fee. The course fee also includes access to the PADI eLearning platform and digital certification card upon successful completion of the course.
