The TSC Discover Scuba course is the most fun way to try scuba diving without taking a full training course. Discover Scuba is also available for kids' birthday parties and groups.
Have you thought about trying scuba diving before taking a course to make sure you like it? The TSC Discover Scuba experience is a perfect choice for anyone wishing to try scuba in our downtown pool under the careful supervision of one of our wonderful Instructors or Divemasters.
Whilst the discover scuba experience is about trying scuba for the first or second time, depending on your comfort level our instructors will show you a few basic skills so that you can experience what it will be like to learn scuba skills during a course. The skills we may look at with you are regulator clearing and how to clear your mask.
Participants must be 10 years or older and no prior scuba experience is required. Although knowing how to swim is not required during this experience participants should know that the depth will be limited if you are not able to and that basic swimming and treading water is a requirement and will be tested when learning how to scuba dive to gain certification.
The Discover Scuba experience includes all dive equipment, including mask, fins, BCD, regulator, tanks and weights and up to 1.5 hours with your divemaster or instructor. Participants who decide to sign up for the Open Water Course within 12 months of this course will receive a $40 credit towards their training.
