This is a service request only. A TSC representative will contact you directly to confirm timing and equipment drop-off. Proceed through the normal checkout process to confirm your request. You will not be asked for payment at this time.
TSC can visually inspect, hydrostatically test and fill your SCUBA tank. We currently do not offer services for tanks outside of SCUBA use. In the event a tank requires additional cleaning or we find issues with the tank valve we will always call you to discuss those additional servicing needs.
Cylinders must be within hydro (5 years), have an evidence of inspection sticker (VIS) from a recognized dive centre dated within the last year, and show no sign of damage or fire exposure. Please note you must present a SCUBA certification on drop-off or pickup for us to release a SCUBA tank to you.
All scuba tanks require a visual cylinder inspection annually. TSC performs visual cylinder inspection in-house, following the PSI/PCI 18-step protocol. If no issues are found, we apply a new evidence of visual inspection sticker and fill your cylinder. If we find any issues, we’ll discuss remediation options.
Cylinders require hydrostatic testing every 5 years by Canadian law. We work with off-site partners for hydrostatic cylinder testing.
After hydro, cylinders are returned with a new visual inspection sticker and air fill.
Air fills can be done whilst you wait unless the store is very busy. Visual Inspections and Hydrostatic testing require 7-10 days to turnaround. Whilst sometimes it will not take that long, this is the average turnaround time. Should you need a tank to use in the meantime we will be happy to rent you one of ours from the store. This applies only to single tanks, we do not currently rent double configurations.
